The Davis Index

1. The Rookie is still the only team to score above average every week this season.

2. The streaks are broken, Team GFY scored above the average for the first time this year and MMCB finally faced an above average opponent

3. The combined league scores were down ½ a point from last week. 

4. The average score is 136.8 points per week this season.

5. The average points for teams eliminated from the island is 94.9. Note: If you take out All Fired Up’s historic week 1, the average goes up to 101.6.

6. Starting this week, we will look at magic numbers (the Rookie and No Bobby No’s magic number are 5, which means that both teams can clinch playoff spots as early as November 5th.

11. Devin Funchess and Nelson Agholor have outscored Julio Jones on a points per game basis (along with total points).

12. Cameron Brate has scored a touchdown and had at least 4 catches in 4 consecutive games.

13. Despite being suspended for two games, Austin Seferian-Jenkins is a top 12 tight end. Maybe we all should stop drinking.

14. The Jags DST is a top 12 rb and top 13 WR. It would also be a top 3 tight end and has more points than Roethlisberger, Winston, Tyrod, and Bortles.

15. 10 kickers had 10 points or more this week led by Ryan Succop’s 21 points (Sorry Gingers) For the record, that is more than my starting qbs had COMBINED 

Bonus Fun Fact: Ride or Dies just added someone named Joe Callahan that looks like he should be selling brake pads to Zalinski Auto Parts rather than playing quarterback in the NFL.

Isn’t it fitting that Ride or Dies was kicked off the island because of Bar(r). 

Matchup of the week: Vonteego Cross vs All Fired Up in a must win for both teams. The Closest matchups are a couple of battles of 3-3 teams with MMCB facing off against Team GFY (battle of the ended streaks) and The Monstars vs The Ginger Snaps.
