Dear Pussy Palace Members
So we finally get a podcast from the Back Door No Babies Club!! They ask of us, PLEASE contribute; I spend my hard earned money to keep the league’s webpage for all you good for nothings!!! We the Back Door No Babies Club (I will continue to use this) give you this ill scripted podcast filled with free plugs, a guest speaker who has nothing to do with the league other that association, and errors! We will spend time crying about a beer that will be temporarily gone, and rave about drinking cold piss!!! AND not only will we do this but we will spend about 3 minutes to prepare our SANCTONED Power Rankings. In this vast amount of preparation time we the Back Door No Babies Club will look at each roster and give our opinion on why we think they deserve this spot we put them in. Absolutely no biases opinions at all, no thought, and we will swear to you that Amari Cooper is still a member of ALL Fired UP!!! Even though we spent time looking at each roster, Even though we have teams rosters right in front of our faces, and had one beer, we will still get it wrong. Kelsey to this day is still being drafted high because he’s the best blocking TE in the game. Factor that into your rankings!!
It’s easy to point out the faults in thing and it would be wrong if I said it was a complete disaster because they did spend about 45 min of their time giving a decent breakdown of rosters, going over trades and how they feel teams will perform going forward. That’s a lot more than anyone has done so far this year. I’m looking at you Timbo with your quarterly analysis and Chris with your power rankings that “have a specific formula”. We have yet to see either and if I were a betting man, I don’t think we will. I’ll admit I myself use to do ranking, but over time life just gets in the way and I got lazy. I will give mike credit for pointing out the effort spent on the group chat could be put used more constructively. So to kill 2 birds, I vent on here AND I give material to make use of the website.
Some Ideas, one member suggested to make the podcast better is changing the location. I don’t see that being a bad idea, as stated in the Podcast 2 Roads does nothing for you, yet they get free plugs. I want to say 80ish % of the league resided in the New Haven area. Now to increase members appearing in it, it just makes sense to have another location in addition to 2 roads like maybe Bar 80? Where half of the league members hang out and the bar actually has done things for you in the past.
And then we have members “don’t complain just contribute” but that same person is quoted saying “Now I spitefully to contribute” So you want people to contribute but you just stated you won’t? How does that make sense? Here’s an idea lead by example, it’s far more effective. I don’t know about you but if I can spend the effort on group me (hours) I can sure spend 30 min thinking of something type about, in the down time I have instead of fake accounts =P.
Lastly, I personally don’t want to see the webpage go down, we all love the league otherwise with the amount of BS that goes on why are we still here? This has to be one of the most intense leagues out there. In no other league that I personally have been it is there this much activity on a weekly basis. Even to the point where people’s opinions get factored into a trade. I can’t tell you how many deals have ended with “can’t wait to hear they backlash from the league on this one” or even if you slightly take a lesser deal, you are guaranteed to hear EVERYONES voice on how badly you got raped. I personally enjoy it. Nothing is more satisfying to this owner when they are wrong. Freeman for President!!!! Even though the podcast had its errors, it still got its point across and mission accomplished. Maybe I will do these once in a while, we’ll see going forward.
