Vonteego cross- draft grade: C Vonteego cross has another mediocre draft in the books. No big glaring weaknesses, but no core standing out. An aging big Ben that more than one owner hopes stays healthy for the year, Julio Jones and Todd Gurley are the standout players but in true Vonteego cross fashion, the owner surrounds them with garbage. This team will be on the fringe of playoff contention but will fall a game short in my opinion. A few key additions popping up in free agency throughout the year could change their fortunes though.
The romosexuals- draft grade: B the romosexuals had a solid draft. The key to their season may be Matty ice returning to form and having a big year. Solid receiving core, no standout running backs but a deep rotation. If Randall Cobb has a big year look for this team to finish in the top 5.
All fired up- draft grade: A All fired up fresh off a 2015 title looking to add another had a strong draft. Good solid quarterbacks, a shaky backfield though with no dion Lewis possibly for the season. Duke Johnson will need a breakout year for this team to be as successful as last season. The receivers are outstanding as a group and a steal with OBJ falling to number 3. Tight end could be an issue but with the other firepower on the team all fired up will be a solid contender again in 2016.
Trojans- draft grade: C+ a disappointing draft for the Trojans in my opinion. An A for the quarterback duo, but weaknesses at the other key positions. In a ppr league to go in with only T.Y Hilton as the only reliable wide receiver will be the Trojans undoing. Look for the Trojans to be battling to stay away from the murphy bowl.
Drink your mlller ingrams- draft grade: B+ good balanced draft. No big weaknesses. Should be another top contender with depth and strength at every position.
The monstars- draft grade: A- the monstars had themselves a draft. With good keepers this year the monstars have put themselves in prime position for a deep playoff run. If Zeke is a hit like I think he will be, it’s going to be tough to beat the monstars. Biggest question mark is the receiving corps, can Eric decker be enough of a number one receiver in a ppr league? Maybe Willie Snead will step up to fill that need.
TeamDta-draftgrade:B- Team DTA had a good draft anchored by solid keepers. Eli is a top QB and will put up monster numbers this season. All day anchoring the running back position. Putting a lot of faith in Carlos Hyde and Doug baldwin, I believe those two will be the keys to Dta’s season. Prediction is Dta will make the playoffs at about the 6th seed.
Team go fuck yourself- draft grade: C Team gfy putting it’s chips on DeAndre Hopkins, I think this is a BIG MISTAKE. Hopkins will be a bust this year thanks to gfy’s second Qb Brock osweiler. Brock showed flashes in a loaded offense last year and the Texans area big step back. Gfy will be on the outside looking in come playoff time.
Team center of attention- draft grade: D+ no standouts at running back or quarterback will leave center of attention weak when the season gets into full swing. Ryan Matthew’s can’t shake the injury bug, stacking Qb wide receiver combos isn’t usually the best idea and they have 2 combos. This team will be OUT of the playoffs by a hefty margin
Team hail Mary to the king- draft grade: F- shit team drafted by shit owner. His top picks will miss a total of 9 count em 9 games automatically. This is a team full of scrubs. D town doesn’t know who’s throwing him the ball and can’t hit him in the open anyways. I’ll be shocked if this team wins any more than 4 games
The rookie- draft grade:B the rookie turning in his best draft so far in his young career. If he can navigate around not having a backup Qb he can make the playoffs and make some noise. But no backup Qb is a big problem and will probably amount to 2 losses if not addressed. Wide receivers are serviceable. Jamaal Charles is a stud if he can stay healthy. Not sure who will pick up the slack should Rawls be a bust that would derail his season in a hurry.
Mean machine child beaters- draft grade: A biggest thing that can cause the mean machine a problem is running back depth look for that to be addressed. A true contender for the title with top players at each position. Picking up their running backs handcuff was a key to their draft. Stealing gronk in the second could be the positional advantage they need to get the job done. Favorite for the title? Can’t say that yet as you can’t count out the defending champion before the season has started, but definitely a top contender.
Power rankings:
1 all fired up 2 mean machine 3 monstars 4 drink your mlller in grams 5 romosexuals 6 team Dta 7 the rookie 8 team go fuck yourself 9 vonteego cross 10 Trojans 11 center of attention 12 hail Mary to the king
